This 165m2 luxury home extension in Mount Lawley has been constructed on an existing Federation style home and is a result of a vision that our client had for 3 years prior to the build.
The client had envisaged the integration of a Hampton style theme to the internals and remainder of the external house whilst preserving the front façade of this character home.
The extension was built on where an existing swimming pool previously sat over a massive back yard. JAV Developments organised for a partial demolition to the rear of the house including the pool and large trees to this well-established suburb in Mt Lawley. With precision planning and regular communication with the client, JAV Developments connected the newly built kitchen, living and dining areas onto the existing 1928 home whilst the owner resided in the house. The construction was done with minimum interference to the daily lives of this family of four.
New underground electrical and plumbing services were also installed to the existing house whilst connecting to the new part of the extension.
Timber frame doors and windows to complement the Hampton style theme were used throughout the internal and external openings. Painted timber lining cladded the ceilings as features to the 4.0m high vaulted ceiling in the living room.
60mm thick stone bench top over 4.0m long boasted the kitchen island with decorated pendant in the gold and silver to match the hand made cabinet doors and designer taps throughout the kitchen.
Beautifully toned natural colours used throughout the walls, ceilings, floors and cabinetry that distinct the Hampton style theme.
